BARNS & GARDENS

Our historic cluster of barns surrounded by gardens and ancient trees with wrap around views of Cornwall, have been sympathetically restored to create locations for wedding ceremonies, garden party canapes, pop up cocktail bars, beautiful floral displays, and celebrations with your family and friends.

CEREMONY LOCATIONS

Saying your wedding vows before your family & fiends at Trevenna surrounded by beautiful barns and landscapes is going to be romantic and memorable. With inside and outside ceremony spaces, we are flexible on your day making the most of a blue sky. Your choice of ceremony locations include the Arbour, Mowhay, Garden Venue, Threshing Barn and the Walled Garden.

THRESHING BARN

Our Threshing barn of mellow stone has stood at Trevenna for 100s of years and now provides a space for beautiful celebrations. Originally used for storing corn and milking cows, the Threshing Barn has a stunning oak bar, a real log fire, space for ceremonies & dancing.

GARDEN VENUE

With walls of windows and views into the fields, the Garden Venue provides a space flooded with natural light all year round. A choice of Trestle or Round Tables, Oak chairs or limewash chairs, ensures your style can be created here. We lay up your tables with glassware, cutlery and linen, so you do not need to spend time doing this. You are then free to decorate the tables and add your touches.

Our Trestle Tables are handmade here at Trevenna, and look great with or without cloths.

MOWHAY

New for 2024, the Mowhay provides an additional space for ceremonies and a new bar for celebration drinks & canapes, before guests flow into the Garden Venue for your Feast.

Our Farm Kitchen prepares homemade meals for your guests throughout your stay. Share slow cooked dishes, daily tunnel salads, puddings and bakery treats. Welcome Dinners and breakfasts are served in the Mowhay Eatery, with outdoor seating and fire pits.

Your guests never need to do any cooking at Trevenna!

ARBOUR

The Arbour of oak & slate sits next to the Giant Tree creating a romantic scene for your outdoor wedding ceremony. A beautiful structure to decorate with your floral displays.

MOWHAY & THRESHING BARS

Our two bars keep the drinks flowing during your stay. The Mowhay Bar is like our village pub, a focus for your guests before the ceremony. Straight after your ceremony the Threshing Barn bar serves your celebrations drinks throughout the day into the evenning.

WALLED GARDEN

The 500 year old Walled Garden features the Herb Knot and newly planted hoop garden, Privy, Rose Garden and restored Granite Arch. New for 2023, the Round Flower Bed for outdoor ceremonies.

Stroll into our meadows, woods, fields for your moment together and stunning photos.

BARN ACCOMMODATION

From 2024, our beautiful barns provide generous accommodation for 45 of your family and friends to stay. There is something magical about all being together in the same place the evening before your wedding day, and the morning after. Every barn has drench showers, underfloor heating and handmade beds.
