When it comes to crafting the perfect wedding experience, Nicola and Seb knew precisely what they wanted – a magical blend of indoor and outdoor spaces set against the stunning backdrop of Cornwall. Their love story, which began 14 years ago, found its most memorable chapter on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2021 at the picturesque Trevenna Cornish wedding venue.
Join us as we unravel the story of love, laughter, and cherished moments, set against the picturesque backdrop of Cornwall's breathtaking landscapes. Nestled in the heart of Cornwall, Trevenna provided the perfect canvas for Nicola and Seb to paint their love story, a tale that began in Canada and found its way to the charming Cornish countryside.

“Kelly’s Ice Cream HAD to be part of our big day, as every year we have our annual “K-Whip Challenge” as a family – who can eat the most ice creams during the week’s holiday, with Seb’s dad, Nino, the current reigning champion!”

“Our inspiration behind the styling was to combine our love for both Cornwall and Canada. We have been visiting Cornwall every year on family holidays since we met 14 years ago, with Canada holding a special place in our heart after several trips there and getting engaged in the Canadian mountains of Whistler”.

“Our cake by the incredible Emily Hankins was her adaptation of the Whistler Blackcomb mountain ranges, which were also reflected in the table names and seating plan, named after our favourite ski runs, alongside the maple syrup place names/favours, which all the guests loved. We had so many pictures following the wedding of how guests had used it (spoiler alert: there were a lot of pancakes)!

“Jonathan and the whole team at Trevenna could not have made this journey more perfect and stress-free for us.
Having booked the venue pre-covid in 2019, to finding out literally 2 weeks before our date if we would end up with a wedding of 30 or with no restrictions, they were so accommodating at every step to ensure the day was perfect from start to finish, taking away so much of the stress from the unknown, even with all the last minute planning!
We honestly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding, even with the morning rain stopping us from getting married outside under the Arbour, not even that could dampen how incredible the day was.
Thank you again from both of us for the most incredible weekend of our lives.
