Danielle & Joshua’s Spring Wedding
30th & 31st May 2018
“Cornwall has always been a special place for us and we wanted to find a somewhere that could accommodate our family and friends in a relaxed and exclusive venue. Family plays a huge part in our lives and the overnight stays option at Trevenna was a real key factor in our decision.
However, the feeling we got from walking around the grounds and Barns at Trevenna really sealed it for us. The views along with the welcoming nature of the staff and the continuous support and help from the wedding hosts throughout the booking and organising process exceeded our expectations.”
INSPIRATION & DETAILS
“Although there wasn’t necessarily a set theme, we based our wedding decorations around one of the first wedding props that we worked on and the colour scheme we had always had in mind. Most of our wedding decorations were based around the Table Plan Door that we created from an old door from our living room…. and then the hidden theme of doors and keys seemed to develop. Many have asked since if the doors had a hidden meaning, possibly signifying a door closing on our single lives and opening as a married couple… however it was more around matching the venue and its farmhouse feeling.”

TOP TIPS
“Personally, for us, making the majority of our wedding decorations gave us a great sense of satisfaction, especially seeing everything come together on the day. So the only tip we would have is, if you think you would enjoy making some of your wedding props – go for it – as we believe it was all of the little things at our wedding that made it ours.”
