Stable Paving – New!

SUN CATCHER

New paving stones have been laid and finished around the Stable Barn, providing guests with a wonderful sun trap to catch those morning rays after breakfast and before the ceremony.

New level paving stones to entrance of Stable

The paving is new and could do with a few long downpours of rain! Additional low level lighting has now been installed at either side of the doors.

Although all our weddings are fully catered with Welcome Dinner and breakfasts being served in the Farm House, the Stable Kitchen is a lovely touch for making tea & coffee during a stay.

PATH TO FARM HOUSE

The new paving wraps around the Stable leading to the Shippon Yard and then Farm House. The rose on the right is full of buds this year, called “Cornish Bride”.

Stable, Wagon & Granary with views to Berry Tor.

The Stable on the left forms a rear court yard with the back of the Wagon House (long single roof, 3 roof lights and short chimney) and the back of the Granary (large double doors, 2 large roof lights and a taller metal chimney).

Each barn has its own private garden space for taking time out during a very social wedding stay!

BERRY TOR

Berry Down, one of the features of the view from Trevenna can be seen rising up in front of the barns. Berry Castle, located on Berry Down, is a hill top enclosure consisting of nine neolithic stone hut circles and earth round.

Walks straight from the barns, across the fields and up to Berry Down are very possible in the morning before the wedding. Set off straight after breakfast and be sure to get back before pre-ceremony drinks!
