Zara & Edward
Based in Singapore and with a love for Cornwall, Zara & Edward came to Trevenna for their wedding on 9th & 10th September 2016. Zara & Edward’s flowers were a beautiful part of their celebrations as captured in these stunning images, by Laura Buffery.
Vanessa Collins, gardener and florist of The Flower Mill, passionately explained; “I very much work with our seasons and my arrangements are a celebration of that transience.
“It was important to Zara and Ed to have locally grown flowers rather than imported and they requested pale pinks/blues and a touch of yellow to represent gold. The wedding was arranged from Singapore via email, with one meeting over coffee to discuss ideas for Trevenna’s beautiful Arbour”.
Vanessa explained, “Flowers within Zara & Edward’s arrangements picked a day before their wedding included, Scabious, Feverfew, Astrantia, Achillea, Dahlia, Japanese Anemones, Hydrangea, Eryngium, Solidago, Delphinium, Cosmos (especially grown from seed for Zara), Antirrhinum, Fennel, … plus many more!!”
